We are looking for an experienced derivatives documentation professional looking to move into the Goldman Sachs ISDA team on a full time permanent basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading ISDA, repo, securities lending and other legal documentation negotiations for the firm's Securities Division
  • Developing, maintaining and implementing legal documentation precedents, templates and policies, in coordination with global teams
  • Working with internal and external lawyers to provide advice to the business on legal and regulatory issues related to document negotiation
  • Providing training to internal divisions on legal documentation issues and processes
  • Liaising across multiple divisions and with global personnel at Goldman Sachs
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years directly relevant ISDA/GMRA/GMSLA negotiation and a minimum 5 years industry experience
  • Proven excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially under pressure; ability to prioritize
  • Must have strong academics and good IT skills
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills and willingness to be part of a team
  • Enthusiasm and interest in development of documentation skills and using such skills for the completion of negotiation process
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills and develop full job ownership
  • Mandarin language skills as the role will entail some interaction with clients in China
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other legal documentation (PB Agreements or other transactional documentation) and derivatives regulatory reform issues desirable
