Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate (2-8 PQE) to join a growing Commercial Disputes & Insolvency team in Melbourne.Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, you will gain exposure to a broad mix of contentious and advisory matters, including:
- Corporate and personal insolvency matters
- Bankruptcy and liquidation disputes
- Restructuring and turnaround matters
- Enforcement and recovery proceedings
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Shareholder and director disputes
- Insolvency-related investigations and claims
- Advocacy opportunities and court appearances
What you'll need to succeed
- 2-8 years' post-admission experience
- Experience in insolvency, restructuring, bankruptcy, commercial litigation or dispute resolution
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to legal advice
- The ability to manage matters effectively while working as part of a collaborative team
- A genuine interest in developing your career within disputes and insolvency
- Exposure to complex commercial disputes and insolvency matters
