The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will play an important part in maintaining the integrity of the finance function while supporting key reporting, compliance and planning activities. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will gain exposure to both financial and management accounting responsibilities while contributing to ongoing process improvements.

This position would suit an accountant looking to further develop their technical skill set within a fast-paced corporate environment, whilst building exposure to budgeting, forecasting, tax and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end reporting activities, ensuring financial results are delivered accurately and on time.
• Prepare account reconciliations and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger across multiple entities.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial reporting requirements and year-end audit processes.
• Contribute to tax and compliance obligations, including indirect tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve finance team efficiencies.

Your Profile

You are a motivated accounting professional who enjoys working in a hands-on role and taking ownership of your responsibilities. Combining strong technical accounting capability with a proactive mindset, you are comfortable working with stakeholders across the business and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same. You are detail-oriented, eager to learn and committed to delivering high-quality work.

• CA or CPA qualified or actively working towards completion.
• Big4 or mid-tier training would be advantageous.
• Prior experience in financial accounting, month-end reporting and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working across financial systems.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
