Property & Customer Services Coordinator - Purpose-Driven Organisation (Sydney)

We're partnering with a growing, purpose-driven organisation to recruit a full-time, permanent Property & Customer Services Coordinator based in Sydney CBD.
This is an opportunity to use your property and customer service experience in a role with genuine purpose, supporting customers to achieve positive housing outcomes while joining a collaborative and growing team.
The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll manage your own portfolio of customers and act as a key point of contact across tenancy and property matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day tenancy matters and providing proactive, responsive customer support
- Coordinating lease sign-ups, rent arrangements and tenancy administration
- Managing more complex tenancy matters with a solutions-focused and customer-centred approach
- Monitoring rent payments and proactively following up on arrears
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance, ensuring issues are followed through to resolution
- Conducting property inspections and viewings as required
- Visiting properties to resolve customer concerns and provide face-to-face support
- Building strong relationships with customers, their representatives and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with property stakeholders and internal teams to achieve positive outcomes
- Maintaining accurate customer records, detailed file notes and up-to-date information across relevant systems
About You
You will bring:
- At least 2 years' experience in property management, tenancy management or a similar customer-focused role
- Strong customer service experience and a genuine desire to achieve positive outcomes for people
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different individuals and situations
- A proactive mindset - you take ownership of queries and keep things moving until they are resolved
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence working autonomously while remaining connected and accountable to the wider team
- Resilience, maturity and the ability to remain calm and professional when navigating challenging situations
- Experience within community services, housing, property or another customer-focused environment will be highly regarded
