About the role:
At Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, reliability is at the heart of our operations. As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, efficiency, and long-term sustainability of our manufacturing assets at our flagship production facility in Ghent.
Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams, you will drive reliability improvements, reduce equipment downtime, and help optimize asset performance across a highly automated production environment. Through data analysis, preventative maintenance strategies, and root cause investigation, you will help ensure our production lines operate safely, efficiently, and consistently to meet customer demand.

How you add value:
- Develop and continuously improve maintenance and reliability strategies for critical production and facility assets.
- Analyze equipment performance, maintenance history, and failure trends to improve asset reliability and reduce downtime.
- Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to optimize equipment performance and operational efficiency.
- Lead root cause analyses and failure investigations, implementing sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct asset criticality assessments and reliability studies, identifying opportunities to improve equipment lifecycle performance.
- Develop risk mitigation plans to minimize operational disruptions and support business continuity.
- Support predictive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance programs across the site.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for complex mechanical and production equipment issues.
- Monitor and report on key maintenance and reliability KPIs, driving data-led decision making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure maintenance procedures, asset documentation, and technical standards remain accurate and compliant.
- Support the implementation of new equipment, technology upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
- Share best practices and provide technical coaching to maintenance and operational teams.
Who are we looking for?:
- Experience as a Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Asset Engineer, or similar role within a manufacturing, FMCG, food & beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, asset management, and maintenance best practices.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis (RCA), failure investigations, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions based on multiple sources of technical data.
- Experience working with CMMS systems and maintenance performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, FMEA, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is highly valued.
