Job Description

We are looking for a commercially driven payments professional to grow adoption and monetization of Visa's authentication, Passkeys and digital identity solutions across Central Europe.

This is a client-facing role for someone who can translate complex product capabilities into clear commercial value and engage confidently with issuers, merchants, acquirers and partners.

As Senior Manager, Digital Commerce Solutions (Authentication, Passkeys and Digital Identity), you will partner with Sales, Product and cross-functional teams to shape client propositions, build executive-ready materials and convert opportunities into measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate combines payments expertise, business development skills, strong storytelling and the ability to bring next-generation authentication solutions to market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Commercial Growth & Business Development

• Drive growth and adoption of Visa's authentication solutions across Central Europe.
• Build pipeline with Sales and convert client opportunities into commercial impact.
• Develop client value propositions and business cases.

2. Solution Selling & Client Engagement

• Advise clients on authentication, digital identity and checkout optimization.
• Translate complex topics into clear commercial messages.
• Engage senior client stakeholders and ecosystem partners.

3. Executive Storytelling & Sales Materials

• Create executive presentations, client proposals and sales materials.
• Build concise narratives for senior audiences.
• Prepare updates on pipeline, opportunities and commercial impact.

4. Go-to-Market Execution

• Lead go-to-market execution for authentication and identity solutions.
• Turn global priorities into local commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate delivery across Product, Sales, Marketing, Risk, Legal and Client Services.

5. Product Expertise & Market Insight

• Maintain expertise in Visa Payment Passkey, EMV 3DS and emerging identity solutions.
• Monitor market, regulatory and technology trends.
• Share market feedback to inform product and commercialization priorities.

6. Performance & Impact

• Track pipeline, adoption, revenue impact and transaction uplift.
• Identify improvements to sales effectiveness and client engagement.
• Recommend where to focus resources for highest impact.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree, an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluent in German (written and spoken)
• Experience in payments, fintech, digital commerce, authentication, identity or related technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of payment products, flows and the digital commerce ecosystem.
• Proven track record in client-facing commercial roles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of EMV 3DS, FIDO/passkeys, PSD2/3, SCA, fraud and risk.
• Experience in solution consulting, enterprise sales or commercial strategy.
• Strong executive presence and confidence presenting to senior audiences.
• Excellent PowerPoint, storytelling and business case development skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives through influence.
• Interest in digital identity, Agentic Commerce and next-generation payment experiences.
