APAC Litigation and Regulatory Counsel, Global Fintech Company (up to 2.2M per annum)

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced litigation and financial regulatory lawyers looking to go into the financial technology sector and take on an exciting position with international exposure.  Reporting to the APAC Department Head, the successful candidate will work closely with key business partners across the region and will be responsible for handling a broad range of litigation and financial regulatory matters.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in keeping the business abreast on major regulatory changes which may have an impact to the company and supporting business lines on regulatory change implementation

• Providing advice regarding litigation and disputes matters as well as conduct related matters 

• Consulting local, regional, and global legal, compliance departments and risk management departments with respect of financial services and technology related regulatory matters

• Providing training and education for management and staff on regulatory developments globally and within the region

The ideal candidate will be a Commonwealth qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of PQE working in the litigation/regulatory/investigation team of an leading international law firm or a financial services company.  Fluent English and good Mandarin skills are required
