Assistant Manager, Settlement

Responsibilities

• Responsible for trade settlement and reconcile position between systems, CCASS and custodian
• Perform settlement instruction for brokers and retail client
• Perform physical shares deposit to /withdrawal from HKSCC
• Perform IPO settlement
• Perform nominee functions on securities custodian and corporate event services including share offers, rights issues, bonus issues, dividend elections etc
• Comply with regulatory requirements (including HKMA and SFC) and Audit / Risk Management guidelines
• Report any suspicious, outstanding and incident to Managers
• Handle ad-hoc project / request that assigned by Managers

Requirements

• Degree holder in any discipline(s)
• At least 2-3 years of banking back office experience in securities
• Has product knowledge of both equities and fixed income
• Strong in Microsoft excel, word and powerpoint (including Chinese Word Processing) and VBA programming
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess desirable attributes including being a team player, willingness to learn and problem solving skills
