Associate/AVP, Financial Accounting-Tax, Financial Management

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure corporate tax compliance in relevant tax jurisdictions such as Mainland China, HK, UK and Singapore, and assist in tax automation or e-filing;
• Manage transfer pricing documentation, local file preparation and BEPS compliance implementation;
• Responsible for tax planning matters and assist in tax queries handling, tax audit or investigation and ad-hoc tax advice for all relevant tax jurisdictions;
• Responsible for HK stamp duty exemption, CRS and FATCA tax related matters;
• Assist in update and implementation of internal tax measures and procedures, with reference to relevant Head Office tax administrative measures together with tax laws and regulations in relevant tax jurisdictions;
• Monitor and provide updates on significant tax matters, and assess the relevant tax impact with regard to new changes on tax laws and regulations in relevant tax jurisdictions;
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments and duties as directed by the supervisors from time to time.

Skills & Experience

• At least 3 years tax relevant working experience, with Big 4 or commercial background specialized in PRC tax; experience in banking and financial industry would be preferred;
• Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Independent, strong analytical and communications skills;
• Strong learning ability and a good team player with strong self-initiative;
• Knowledge in stamp duty, FATCA and CRS is desirable;
• Excellent command of Chinese and English writing.
