A Global, Leading Insurance company focused on serving High-Net-Worth (HNW) individuals and families is strengthening their business in the Greater Bay Area and expanding their coverage in the Mainland Chinese Client market. Known for financial strength and sophisticated products, your new firm provides bespoke life insurance, wealth management and financial structuring solutions for legacy, succession, and cross-border planning needs. The firm is seeking an experienced Director of HNW Client Advisory to drive strategic expansion, build high-level partnerships, and further strengthen its UHNW market presence in Mainland China.

Your new role

• Develop and execute market entry and growth strategies targeting the Mainland Chinese client segment, aligning partner network development with overall business objectives.
• Build, expand, and manage a cross-border partner network of brokers, agents, and strategic collaborators to deliver integrated insurance, wealth management, trust, tax, and legal solutions.
• Identify, onboard, and cultivate high-quality intermediary partners in Mainland China, ensuring strong alignment in client positioning, compliance standards, and service offerings.
• Design and structure collaborative partnership models that enable seamless referrals and bundled solutions across financial, legal, and fiduciary services.
• Act as the central coordinator between internal product teams and the external partner network to ensure a consistent client experience and end-to-end service delivery.
• Drive partner engagement through joint marketing initiatives, training programs, and business development activities tailored to Mainland Chinese client needs.
• Monitor regulatory, tax, and market developments affecting cross-border clients, translating insights into actionable partner network strategies.
• Establish governance frameworks, referral processes, and performance metrics to manage partner effectiveness and optimize network outcomes.
• Support brokers, agents and sales channels within the partner network with value propositions, sales materials, and solution structuring for high-net-worth and affluent Mainland Chinese clients.
• Track partner network performance, pipeline development, and revenue contribution, providing strategic recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ Years of Experience in HNW Insurance or Brokerage, Wealth Management Advisory or Private Banking
• Hold strong networks to Mainland Chinese market
• Knowledge of tax structuring, legal services or trust advisory is a plus
• Fluency in Chinese is a must
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Eager and proactive personality with a strong attention to detail
