We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Architect to lead the design, strategy, and evolution of enterprise-wide network infrastructure across a large-scale environment. This role will be responsible for defining the network architecture roadmap, driving cloud connectivity strategies, and ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure services that support business growth.

The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in Huawei networking technologies, while remaining familiar with Cisco enterprise solutions. In addition, the role requires experience integrating enterprise networks with cloud platforms such as Tencent Cloud and AWS within hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

This position will act as the technical authority for network architecture, providing leadership across infrastructure transformation initiatives, technology governance, and strategic technology investments.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Define and maintain enterprise-wide network architecture, standards, and technology roadmaps.
• Design and govern large-scale LAN, WAN, data centre, internet, and wireless network solutions.
• Lead architecture and deployment of SD-WAN, software-defined networking (SDN), and next-generation network technologies.
• Develop hybrid network architectures connecting on-premises infrastructure with AWS and Tencent Cloud environments.
• Design cloud connectivity solutions including VPC networking, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPN, and inter-cloud connectivity.
• Lead network modernization and transformation programmes, ensuring scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to implement secure network architectures, including segmentation, Zero Trust principles, network access control, and DDoS protection.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical governance for infrastructure projects.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations on future-state network capabilities.
• Drive network automation initiatives using Infrastructure-as-Code and orchestration tools.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal technical teams to deliver enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to network engineering and operations teams.
• Ensure network solutions align with business continuity, disaster recovery, and regulatory requirements.
• Support troubleshooting of complex infrastructure issues and act as the highest level of network escalation when required.

Required Skills for the Role

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Architecture, or Infrastructure Architecture roles.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise network transformation projects.
• Professional certifications such as HCIE/HCIP Datacom, CCNP, CCIE, AWS, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and business leaders at all levels.
• Strong experience designing and managing large-scale enterprise networks.
• Proven expertise in routers/switches, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SDN, SD-WAN, Enterprise Wireless Networks, etc.
• Experience designing highly available and resilient network infrastructure.
• Strong preference on Huawei technology, but open to candidates with expertise on Cisco products
• Experience integrating network with cloud, ideally Tencent Cloud or AWS Cloud
• Strong understanding of zero trust network architecture, network segmentation, Network Access control (NAC), network firewalling, DDoS Protection and network security best practices
• Experience with network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Experience with network monitoring, observability, and performance management tools.
• Excellent English communication skills, Cantonese and / or Putonghua are advantageous
