Position Description:

The Asia Head of Talent Development and Diversity & Inclusion oversees all Talent Development and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives across Asia. Reporting to the Asia Co-Head of HR, this individual will work with regional and global HR and business unit colleagues to identify and align key learning and development, diversity and inclusion strategy and initiatives.

The candidate should have the ability to: operate as part of a virtual, global team, translate global strategies into local initiatives, identify and articulate local trends and requirements back to the global team, and be pro-active resolving client needs. As Asia Head of Talent Development and Diversity & Inclusion, he/she needs to effectively partner with internal revenue and infrastructure clients, HR colleagues, and external vendors. He/she should enjoy working in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
· Support HR Generalists in identifying talent development and diversity & inclusion solutions for revenue and infrastructure business clients. Partner with HR Generalists and business units to implement solutions that are relevant, practical, and enduring.
· Partner with Talent Development colleagues, globally, to analyze and prioritize development needs across the organization and then work to develop relevant and practical solutions that resonate with the business, including some program design
· Partner with HR Generalists, Talent Development and D&I colleagues across the globe to implement leadership development initiatives to develop current and future leaders
· Partner with the Asia Diversity & Inclusion and Analytics leads to identify key regional priorities, align them with global goals and integrate them regionally to ensure an efficient approach to develop the Firm’s talent at all levels
· Coordinate with global and regional counterparts to ensure consistent roll out of global talent initiatives
· Lead a regional team across multiple locations, sharing information, helping to prioritise initiatives and manage stakeholders’ expectations (including Japan, China, India and Hong Kong)
· Evaluate external solutions from vendors and external partners, including instructor-led learning, technology driven learning, gamification and assessments to drive innovative talent development solutions and programs
· Stay apprised of key trends and cutting-edge thinking in order to inform the development of relevant, practical, and enduring talent management solutions
· Leverage global programs and processes, develop local leaders and manage coaching assignments across the region
· Evaluate external solutions from vendors and external partners, including instructor-led learning, technology driven learning, gamification and assessments to drive innovative talent development solutions and programs
· Mentor and support development of team members

· Lead and Support local HR department initiatives

Experience:
· In–depth understanding and experience of best practices and issues in talent development, including a clear understanding of how to drive commercial results in a financial services environment
· Proven track record in the design, development and implementation of talent development solutions
· Highly collaborative - ability to work effectively with diverse colleagues and peers in a virtual environment to deliver business results
· Proven track record of managing teams across multiple locations
· Strong analytical problem-solving, critical thinking and project management skills; ability to "make ideas happen"

Background/Education:
· 10 years' experience, preferably in professional/financial services talent development environment
· Undergraduate degree required; MBA or advanced degree in talent management or similar field
· Partner with Talent Development and D&I colleagues across the globe to implement leadership development initiatives locally, including some program design
