WPB Chief of Staff We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as
Manager, Fraud Analytics.
Principal responsibilities - Design and document new fraud detection rules according to system capabilities and business requirements to mitigate fraud risk with good balance between fraud risk mitigation and customer experience
- Strictly adhere to internal procedures to design rule management process to avoid adverse impact to customer and business
- Analyse fraud trend and design the controls to ensure planned operational capacity is sufficient to manage the risk
- Develop new analytics capability and new analytical practices to mitigate complex and/or syndicate fraud risk in partnership with Fraud Product Management function, other Research & Analytics functions.
- Interpret and manipulate large data set to extract trends and identify issues and risk
- Build trust and credibility with stakeholders in order to objectively engage them and where appropriate challenge their views
Requirements - Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience. Domain experience in fraud risk is preferred - specialization in card fraud, payment fraud / scams is an added advantage
- The ability to work with limited supervision; the ability to make decisions regarding assigned projects independently or with limited direction from management.
- Proven experience of translating complex data and analytical output into practical fraud mitigation solutions.
- Experience of using either SAS or Python. Advanced analytical techniques will be an advantage e.g. regression analysis, predictive analysis, data mining, machine learning
- Strong analytical thought process and aptitude for creative problem solving.
- Agile methodologies or experience working in a fast paced analytics environment.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
