Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC's position as a provider of world-class retail banking and wealth management solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager Mortgages Business.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Formulate product strategy or initiatives to achieve the Mortgages business target and establish market leader position for HSBC Hong Kong
  • Manage primary projects development end-to-end including partners' agreement, offer design and proposal, logistics arrangement for Mortgage Sales team
  • Collaborate with key business partners to drive leads for new Mortgage Business
  • Coordinate product or feature enhancements that aim at sharpening HSBC's market leading position for mortgages while balancing profitability and volume
  • Work with Branches, Call Centre and Digital channel to ensure the Mortgages product and services are delivered to customers in an appropriate and effective manner
  • Work with Marketing to support the effective promotion of the Mortgage services.
  • Solicit market intelligence, keep abreast of the market trends and customers' expectations
  • Evaluate and enhance the risk management, marketing processes to facilitate healthy portfolio and profitability growth
  • Evaluate and develop initiatives to streamline processes and systems, so that they are compliant to internal and regulatory standards, competitive, efficient and cost effective


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University degree in an appropriate discipline
  • Extensive relevant working experience in business management and retail lending or mortgages within the banking industry
  • Excellent technical know-how and strong business acumen
  • Strong strategic thinking capacity with the ability to translate concepts into actionable plans
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally
  • Strong project management skill, with the ability to work with stakeholders to develop new initiatives
