Position Description

We are looking for experienced Vietnam equity analysts to lead coverage of Vietnamese-listed companies and generate high-conviction investment ideas for institutional investors.

The successful candidate will combine deep market knowledge, strong analytical skills and sound investment judgment to identify opportunities ahead of consensus.

We look for people who think independently, challenge consensus views and build lasting credibility with clients. You will work closely with company management teams and global institutional investors, producing research that informs investment decisions and shapes the market's understanding of Vietnam equities.

A proven track record covering Vietnam-listed stocks as a publishing analyst is essential.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Lead coverage of selected Vietnamese-listed companies and sectors.
2. Publish actionable research and stock recommendations for institutional investors.
3. Identify investment opportunities from industry, company and market developments.
4. Build and maintain financial models, valuations and industry databases.
5. Track earnings, company news, policy changes and macro developments.
6. Present investment ideas to institutional clients.
7. Develop relationships through meetings, roadshows, conferences and client calls.
8. Partner with sales and trading teams to support client engagement.
9. Contribute to thematic and cross-sector research initiatives.
10. Support investor events, corporate access and marketing activities.
11. Communicate investment views clearly to clients and colleagues.

Requirements

1. Master Degree, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience from buyside or sellside
2. Proven experience as a publishing analyst covering Vietnam-listed equities.
3. Deep knowledge of Vietnam's equity market, companies and investment landscape.
4. Strong financial modelling, valuation and stock-picking skills.
5. Ability to develop investment views across sectors.
6. Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
7. Confidence engaging with corporate management teams and institutional investors.
8. Entrepreneurial, self-driven and intellectually curious.
9. Fluent in English; Vietnamese language skills are an advantage.
