Our client is a well-established multinational business with operations across Asia. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Accountant / Senior Accountant to join their regional finance team in Hong Kong.
The Role
- Prepare monthly consolidation reports and perform intercompany reconciliations.
- Analyze financial results and provide variance analysis to support management reporting.
- Review financial reporting packages submitted by overseas entities and ensure compliance with group policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare cash flow reports, forecasts and other management reports.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and other professional parties on statutory reporting and tax matters.
- Monitor month-end closing activities and support finance teams across the region.
- Assist in improving reporting processes, templates and workflow efficiency.
- Work closely with finance and business stakeholders across different locations.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Your Profile
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
- Qualified accountant (HKICPA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) is a plus.
- Around 3 years or above of experience in audit, financial accounting, consolidation or financial reporting. Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Accountant.
- Experience in group reporting, consolidation and regional finance activities is an advantage.
- Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
