Our client is a top tier Chinese securities firm with global presence, they provide competitive compensation and a good work life balance. we are now hiring an application support for their trading floor

Job Responsibilities

Provide front line technical support for both in-house developed and vendor provided application systems

Work closely with internal user and external vendor to solve system problem and fulfill system enhancement/bug fix in a timely manner

Perform the system environment maintenance and assist in the system upgrade and routine test 

Build up and improve the maintenance automation, monitoring and alert system to identify potential risks and facilitate incident prevention

Maintain the knowledge base and operation/experience document management

Improve the operational procedures and risk prevention to ensure support activity is in compliance with company policies and regulations

 

Job Requirements:

Degree or Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines

Solid knowledge of trading application such as Fidessa, SunGard and Ullink

Familiar with SQL Server/Oracle database and Linux/Ubuntu OS

Self-motivated, able to work independently under minimal supervision

Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills with good sense of risk management

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsible team player and able to work under pressure

Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
