Assist the Head of Governance & Transformation to manage, monitor and review the projects and systems related to Controls & Compliance Group & Operations Management Group (CCG & OPG) (Head-Office and/or overseas branches) to ensure adherence to relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and CCG & OPG’s related projects/systems (schedule and budget) can be managed in timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head of Governance & Transformation in driving and promoting the use of FinTech and RegTech for CCG & OPG and assist in developing roadmap and direction of bankwide’s FinTech and RegTech adoption
Coordinate and work with other CCG teams and/or overseas branches, ITG and external solution vendor on the review, tuning, deployment and maintenance of CCG related systems
Coordinate with different parties on relevant system implementation and subsequent maintenance and enhancement
Lead the team in managing, reviewing and maintaining the transformation programs / projects related to CCG & OPG to meet up the regulatory requirements and business needs
Inspire OPG & CCG by working closely with business owners to deliver end-to-end product / services
Promote agile & data-driven transformation cultural to CCG & OPG members
Manage and deliver timely reporting of various Management Information (MI) reports to department heads, senior management, and governance committees
Provide timely information for internal/external audits and regulatory examinations
Requirements
Degree holder in Computer Science, or related disciplines
8 -10 years’ relevant experience including at least 2 years’ management experience, preferable in a sizable financial institution and/or regulatory bodies
Good knowledge in banking laws, operations, products and services
Well versed of AML Compliance and related regulations, guidelines and practices
Familiar with statistical computer applications and programming
