We are looking for a
Financial Reporting Controller
for our Budapest Office

Infrastructure FP&A within FCG makes sure books and records are correct for Morgan Stanley's support areas, reviews actual cost pools and is responsible for financial planning for the support services of the Firm. As part of the monthly reporting, this group prepares global management reporting packs.

The Standard Reporting Team supports several areas within the Firm: Front Office and Support Services (including Technology, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Risk Management, Admin, HR and Operations). We are looking for a motivated junior candidate to join the Standard Reporting Team.


Produce and deliver monthly and quarterly Operational and Management reports
Maintenance and further development of existing reporting portfolio, provide support to senior management team on an ad-hoc basis
Automate the reporting process, identify and implement improvements, support the migration of standard reports to BI (Business Intelligence) tool (Tableau)
Looking for ways of improving the efficiency, process and data quality, manage implementation of improvement initiatives
Be part of the review cycle in the team with ensure, that all reports are tested and reviewed based on the internal requirements
Working collaboratively with global counterparts, design, develop and implement reporting requirements
Ad-hoc projects

Skills Required:

Completed Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Business related discipline and availability to work full time (8 hours a day)
At least 1 years of working experience related to finance or controlling
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Solid knowledge of finance or accounting concepts
Strong technical sense, numeracy and analytical skills
Accuracy, attention to detail, good organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Access and VBA knowledge is advantage
Experience in working with BI (Business Intelligence) tools (Tableau is preferred) is advantage
