The Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Gurugram is ERM's global operating backbone. It delivers business enablement services in Finance, HR, IT, and Commercial Operations to ensure ERM's global business runs seamlessly, efficiently, and consistently.

As a Workday Functional Consultant , you will play a pivotal role in delivering our Workday roadmap by configuring, optimising, and supporting HCM modules across the organisation. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient HR processes. This role requires strong functional expertise, hands-on configuration skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in a dynamic, global environment. Experience supporting complex benefits administration, annual Open Enrollment activities, and global employee-facing HR processes is highly valued.

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday functional experience, with expertise in at least two modules, including Benefits, Compensation, or Advanced Compensation.
• Proven experience in configuration, process mapping, testing, and continuous improvement of HR processes.
• Experience supporting Benefits administration, configuration, or employee enrolment processes within Workday.
• Workday Pro Certification in Platform Administration and Core HCM.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance requirements, and data governance principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in global delivery models.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

• Experience in global deployments and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Benefits integrations involving carriers, payroll providers, or third-party vendors.
• Workday Pro Certifications in advanced Workday modules (e.g., Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end configuration and administration of Workday modules: Core HCM, Absence, Talent Acquisition, Performance & Talent Management, Compensation (Core & Advanced), Benefits, Journeys, Knowledge, and Case Management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality configurations and enhancements.
• Support Benefits administration activities, including plan configuration, life events, eligibility rules, enrolment processes, integrations, regulatory compliance requirements, and annual Open Enrollment events.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit, and data integrity standards, and support internal/external audits as required.
• Monitor and resolve complex Workday-related incidents and service requests within SLA, providing clear and timely communication to stakeholders.
• Support Workday releases, regression testing, and change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new features.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and provide knowledge transfer to HR superusers and team members.
• Stay current with Workday functionality, industry trends, and best practices; proactively recommend improvements and process optimisations.

Working Model

• The role follows a hybrid working arrangement, designed to facilitate effective global collaboration. Team members are expected to work between 14:00 and 23:00 IST. There may also be occasions when extended working hours are necessary to accommodate cross-time-zone activities.
