Who we are looking for
SSGA is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the SSGA Europe compliance team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Compliance organization and will be located in Dublin. This role provides an opportunity to work on execution and development of the firm's compliance program as well as participating in the coordination and creation of executive management reporting and coordinating and managing regulatory reporting

What you will be responsible for
As a Compliance Officer you will
  • Perform high quality monitoring and testing in line with the firm's risk-based compliance plan.
  • Provide timely and effective compliance advice and guidance to the firm.
  • Coordinate and manage regulatory examinations and related reporting.
  • Execute the outsourcing oversight framework for Compliance outsourced services.
  • Review and assess compliance breaches, including development and oversight of associated remediation.
  • Manage the Compliance teams regulatory monitoring and horizon scanning activities, driving implementation of new requirements.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • The individual should be educated to degree level with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience within asset management compliance.
  • Fluent English is a must
