This role will be part of the Financial Reporting Team and part of the wider Dublin Fund Accounting Team in Ireland. The team is responsible for supporting the European Fund Accounting teams and managing the Irish Fund Range with our TPA's. Our role is to produce financial statements, regulatory reporting, manage the audit process and to ensure all reporting is accurate and meets regulatory and accounting standards

This role will be part of the Financial Reporting Team and part of the wider Dublin Fund Accounting Team in Ireland. The team is responsible for supporting the European Fund Accounting teams and managing the Irish Fund Range with our TPA's.

Your key accountabilities

  • Day to day management of a team of financial reporting accountants
  • Manage our monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting process for our European Funds
  • Manage the audit process
  • Production of key deliverables to SLA's
  • Review of financial statements to generally accepted accounting standards
  • Review of productivity and efficiency of the team with focus on controls, procedures and risk mitigation
  • Management of relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • Qualified accountant or qualified through experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of Office applications, particularly Excel and Access
  • In depth knowledge of Funds and the Audit Function
  • Experienced people manager
  • Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, regulatory reporting requirements and fund structures (UCITS/AIF/CCF'S)
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and their accounting treatment
  • Good operational knowledge of Fund Accounting Systems
