Excellent opportunity to join the finance function of a leading Irish plc.

As a key member of the Group reporting team, role will involve:

  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of high quality financial and management reporting
  • Leading the Financial Control team through the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring underlying processes review and controls have been completed
  • Supporting the delivery of the overall Group strategy and goals through the delivery of timely and accurate financial and management information
  • Leading finance responsibility for annual report production, and all filings
  • Statutory reporting in all locations, including technical accounting analysis
  • Providing meaningful commercial commentaries/reports analysing performance across all business areas and presenting to senior management team
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives to deliver process efficiencies and improvements
  • Managing external / internal audit, internal controls and compliance with SOX
  • Leading, motivating and coaching Financial Control team members to continuously deliver timely and accurate results
  • Assisting with ad-hoc finance projects as required, including acquisition integration work
  • Requirements for this Role
  • Successful candidate will have the following background:
  • A qualified accountant, with Big 4 training background, min 8 years’ progressive PQE
  • Strong technical accounting skills (IRS, US GAAP)
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Systems savvy, SAP, BI
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with SAP (or similar), BI tools
