Our client, an International Investment Bank, is looking to add to its Irish office and interested in speaking with high achieving candidates with stellar academics and Investment Banking or Private Equity experience.

The Opportunity:

  • Developing company networks and relationships supportive of implementation of the strategy for the Focus Sectors
  • Originate and lead the structuring and completion of Energy / Power transactions efficiently and at all times in accordance with company processes
  • Negotiation of investment-related documentation such as sale and purchase agreements, shareholder agreements and financing documents
  • Representation of the firm and the applicable fund in meetings with vendors, acquisition partners, co-shareholders, financiers and contractors on transactions
  • Advance the sector knowledge of other team members through proactive collaboration and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of existing transaction processes

Candidate profile:

  • Significant prior experience working within the Energy/Power with relevant transactional experience in making investments either as a sponsor, principal or in an investment advisory capacity
  • Strong marketing / sales skills and solid analytical abilities
  • Excellent communicator and be able to inspire, influence and persuade others, and demonstrate effective teamwork across divisional and geographic boundaries
  • Strong presenter, confident in dealing with demanding set of audience including senior management teams
  • Strong commercial acumen through an understanding of multiple business drivers and the perspectives of a broad range of stakeholders
