Main Responsibilities / Requirements
· Overall Experience: Globally proficient in all aspects of investments, and across the investment life from origination, management, execution, implementation of business plan and exit. Track record of at least 1-2 investments successfully completed. Cash to cash track record ideal but not requisite.
· Origination / Negotiations: Ability to find and create new opportunities. Can come up with marketable solutions to counterparties and create unique offerings that will win deals. Using sector and investment experience can effectively vet opportunities, and efficiently allocate time, know what deals are mutually attractive and which won’t happen.
· Structuring: can create commercial discussions and agreements, then match appropriate investment/financial instruments, deal and governance structures to meet objectives. Understands clearly the fund mandate and can create opportunities to fall within risk / return parameters using structure
· Documentation: Ideal that is proficient at documentation given team structure and locations. Should be proficient enough to mentor junior team. Experience across equity documents; share purchase agreement, shareholders agreement, shareholder loans, developments service agreements. Familiarity with debt documents helpful but not requisite
Financial: has come from investment banking or investment background with strong financial modelling training.
Management: proficient at managing advisors and counterparties. Has experience in managing small transaction teams of 2-3. Can be managed by an MD/Sr.
