Our client is a global investment management company. Due to continued business success, they are now recruiting an Investment Oversight – Senior Manager to join their Dublin team on a permanent basis.

Working as a senior and integral part of the team who are responsible for overseeing all investment management activities in Europe, the Investment Oversight - Senior Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:

  • Ensuring the entities are complying with their governance obligations
  • Assessing and developing the oversight framework to ensure adherence to relevant CSSF, UK FCA and CBI regulations
  • Delivering high quality reporting for senior management and the Board
  • Building strong relationships with Portfolio Managers
  • Reviewing internal and external delegates on a regular basis
  • Coordinating thematic investment manager due diligence reviews for both internal and external investment managers
  • Using your understanding of investment strategies to evaluate investment performance from performance of the UCITS/AIFs
  • Managing ad-hoc projects
  • Running relevant investment management related committees (e.g., Investment Management and Portfolio Oversight Committee)

The Investment Oversight – Senior Manager will meet the following criteria:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • 6 - 10 years’ experience within the asset management/investment funds industry
  • Experience working in investment management/the funds industry in one of the following disciplines: product, risk management, fund launches or investment / porfolio oversight
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment
  • Proven ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
