Network Engineering Delivery Manager, Assistant Vice President
Network Engineering Delivery Manager
Responsibilities and Skills Required
The Network team is looking to recruit an Engineering Delivery Manager to our networking team. Your goal is to manage multiple projects across Network Towers including Data Center transformation, cloud services migration, LifeCycle Management and SD-WAN projects. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a global organization and participate in the development of the next generation network architecture. Ideal candidates will have well-rounded knowledge of Network Technologies and excellent project management skills

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering large scale projects across the Network technologies
  • Managing a variety of Network projects from LifeCycle to DataCenter migrations
  • Managing the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning through to implementation
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Ensure projects are delivered within a structured way, continuously enhancing process and delivery
  • Project Documentation & Governance
  • Review and update Risks and Issues
  • Resource Management
  • Managing suppliers and stakeholders
  • Contribute new ideas and process improvement to help deliver projects more efficiently

Required Skills and Experience
  • Good technical understanding of Network, Security and Voice products.
  • Project Management background with experience of delivering Network projects
  • Previous experience of delivering projects in structure manner, improving process and overall delivery
  • Strong interpersonal and client facing skills
  • Strong customer service ethos
  • Must be able to work under pressure, prioritizing effectively.
  • Desirable skills include Project Management Certification (Prince 2, PMP)
  • 10 years experience in project delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to work under intense pressure when resolving complex issues with strict deadlines
  • Strong written, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the team members and superiors
  • Ability to lead and execute large, complex projects related to new technology integration
