Description of the Business Line or Department
Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) is a part of Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS), which is a key pillar of Société Générale's universal banking model.
 
SGSS has been active in Ireland for 20+ years and is a leading player in servicing Irish domiciled and offshore collective investment vehicles. We act locally as fund administrator and depositary for a wide range of international clients who manage schemes from UCITS to AIFs including private equity and real estate structures, hedge funds and special investment vehicles.
 
Summary of the key purposes of the role
The receptionist is responsible, for among other things, providing reception cover, administrative support, office management and accounting duties for the following entities:

Summary of responsibilities 
Reception cover:
Greet clients and visitors at front desk and manage car park spacesOperate switchboard in an efficient, polite and professional manner. Office management:Sort incoming and outgoing postLiaise with external providers, including building management and other servicesEnsure stationery and kitchen supplies are well stocked Deal with any maintenance issues within the office areaManage calendars, meeting rooms and other ad hoc requests  Administrative support:Manage travel itinerary, including booking of flights and hotelsOrganise international and local couriers as and when neededProvide secretarial / administrative support to senior managers, exercising confidentiality, tact and diplomacyUse Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc. Accountant support:
Order tax saver commuter tickets on a monthly basisDeal with invoices and Accounts PayableManage online banking, perform financial transactions, including electronic cash transfer and cheque writingPrepare book-keeping and accounting recordsAssist with production of monthly accountsUpdate database of suppliers

WORK EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION
BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is an advantage

Fluent English
