Senior Software Engineer - Back and Middle Office
This is an opportunity to be part of a trading organisation who have been profitable from day one.
They are a medium sized firm which provides the chance to join a growing team and have a much bigger impact, with greater visibility than in a larger organisation. They have offices in Dublin and Chicago are currently going through a cultural and systems improvement which is where you come in.
You would be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of all middle and back-office applications for their next-generation data and analytics platform. You would focus on all aspects of the trade lifecycle including post-trade allocation, reconciliations and settlement. This new platform will be an integral part of their trading system and will touch all aspects of the trading stack including drop copy, market data, risk, and UI.
You will also have been involved in the recruitment and growth of teams in the past. For context, they have hired 10 traders this year and their areas of expertise run across FI/Commodities markets, trade on Eurex, CME, ICE & others.
