Job Purpose: Reporting to the Section Manager (VP), The Share Class Hedging Manager (AVP) is responsible for managing a Share Class Hedging Operations & Implementations team, managing client relationships, and leading a variety of initiatives

At its core, the Share Class Hedging Manager is an intermediate management level position that will give you responsibility for providing leadership and direction to an experienced team of accounting specialists. Working with our numerous service teams, external partners & clients across Dublin, Edinburgh & Luxembourg, the overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of Share Class Hedging services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities: - Ownership, management and development of strong client relationship
- Development of strong relationships with both FX Product & the FXLM Sales team
- Proactively manage SLAs / KPIs (escalating any issues internally / externally as required).
- Identify issues and problems in service delivery and carry out necessary remediation, keeping team and VP informed of issue.
- Monitor errors, complaints and near misses. Record as appropriate in the Incident log
- Manage capacity within the team, ensuring optimum resource deployment
- Provide coaching, guidance and support to staff on technical, professional and client issues, tailoring development plans with direct reports, and ensuring high performers are given suitable stretch assignments.
- Agree goals, monitor and appraise the performance of team - providing regular formal and informal feedback
- Leading on-site due diligence reviews with offshore Citi Service Centres
- Participate in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and products
- Lead projects and change requests to optimize operational efficiency and improve quality
- Assist with planning and management of all relevant project work
Qualifications: While all of our candidates would be required to have strong Fund Accounting experience, additional related industry experience, financial education or maths/statistics background or analytical mind-set would be a strong bonus:
- Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting
- 5+ years' experience in Share Class Hedging or Fund Accounting with at least 2 in a supervisory / managerial capacity
Knowledge/Experience: - Strong (fund accounting and share class hedging) product knowledge is required. This should include understanding of fund structures, financial instruments, share class hedging methodologies and calculations, regulatory environment and funds industry.
- Hands-on management style with strong leadership skills
Skills: - Client relationship management
- Knowledge of Multifonds & FX Pulse would be advantageous
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Highly computer literate - MS Office applications, SQL, MS Excel at intermediate - advanced level
- Leadership, drive and results focus
- Project management skills with the ability to multi-task
