Our client is currently seeking to hire a Treasury Strategy &Policy Manager for their Dublin City centre offices

Key Accountabilities:

  • Review and update the Liquidity and Funding policies to ensure compliance with the requirements of the CBI regulator
  • Monitor and enhance 1st LOD systems and controls designed to ensure compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements for the bank and escalate immediately to the Treasurer when applicable
  • Documentation of the Individual Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process
  • Assist in the preparation of ICAAP
  • Monitor structural balance sheet pricing, regulatory ratios and other policies and procedures are adhered to on behalf of Corporate Treasury and consistent with group practices
  • Contribute to forecasting, planning and stress testing processes within its Liquidity risk appetite
  • Contribute to the development of the liquidity risk appetite statement
  • Contribute to Recovery and Resolution regulatory submissions for the bank to address potential Liquidity and Funding disruptions and in the event of a liquidity crisis situation, review implications and action accordingly
  • Assist in any relevant regulatory or corporate reporting relating to the business
  • Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of financial and legal regulations that may affect company decisions or policies
  • Monitoring of the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) process and ensure that it correctly reflect the liquidity & funding requirements of the LOB



  • Excellent knowledge of banking products, economics and financial markets
  • At least 5 years of experience and proven expertise in a Treasury function is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to Treasury in Europe, in particular liquidity regulatory metric calculation
  • Understanding of both banking book and trading book accounting; the main inputs to regulatory capital determination; leverage; funding and liquidity requirements and financial risk management
