Business Process Analyst
A Business Process Analyst (BPA) is responsible for leading small, large and/or complex projects. The BPA function is responsible for end-to-end process analysis and design, with an understanding of the technical and operating challenges. There is a focus on both the current and future business environment, covering operational change and technical developments.
Applications are now being sought from suitably qualified candidates at Consultant level to join EMEA Private Equity BPA team.

The Private Equity department has been based in Limerick since 2007. The EMEA Private Equity team consists of a team of over 100 dynamic partners and continues to grow. Our Private Equity team delivers a full end to end service to our Private Equity clients across EMEA, including fund accounting, financial reporting and investor reporting giving our staff wide exposure and experience

Key Responsibilities
•Analyse operational procedures and process, working with the Private Equity operations team to identify areas for automation, to reduce risk and improve efficiency;
•Develop as a functional Subject Matter Expert for PE operations and the Investran platform, documenting and developing a knowledge base, and cross-training team members.
•Elicit and document functional requirements, oversee the development of new functionality, perform user acceptance testing & support implementation and rollout.
•Interact and liaise with technology team and external vendors to resolve functional & technical queries.
•Provide 2nd level production support for Investran and its ancillary applications, logging and monitoring issues to ensure timely resolution.
•Configure the relevant functionality on the Investran accounting platform to support PE accounting processes
•Employ project management tools and techniques when working on docket or project initiatives
•Provide support for new business take-on as well as growth within the existing client base
•Provide support for upstream interfaces and downstream reporting
•Provide various management reports and Operational MIS.

The Successful candidate will benefit from having:
•Qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong technical ability, or proven experience as a Business Analyst.
•Self-starter with advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
•A good understanding of the FIS Investran platform is preferable, but not essential.
•Strong desktop and system skills required, and an anbility to liaise and translate between technical and non-technical departments.
•Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
•Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks
•Strong organizational and time management skills.
