Custody Client Services Team Leader

• Hourly Rate PAYE - €35
Team Overview
My client’s custody client service team in Limerick look after in excess of 650 clients. There is a high level of interaction with internal teams to enable prompt quality responses for all client queries.
Role
You will be responsible for developing and maintain client relationships internally and externally. The successful candidate will own all aspects of service delivery to ensure we exceed our client expectations for all custody queries.
Responsibilities
• Provide management, leadership and guidance to staff, creates an environment that encourages employee engagement, teamwork, and communication.
• Recruit, train, mentor and develop employees.
• Conducts performance management and career development processes; talent and succession planning; and staffing and disciplinary actions.
• Proactively prepares to ensure an effective onboarding experience for new Partners.
• Build working relationships with clients
• Oversee the delivery of daily functions and tasks in order to meet client Service Level Agreements.
• Able to identify opportunities for improvement within existing technology applications while acting as a liaison with Partner areas to drive resolution
• Ensure appropriate operational controls in order to manage and mitigate risk
• Research, analyse and resolve complex client inquiries
• Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact; delivers a work product that requires little revision.
• Contribute and participate in scheduling and conducting Quarterly Service Reviews, Due Diligence meetings, and other Client meetings as required.
• Responsible for understanding the client’s business and needs/deliverables
Skills/ Experience
• Several years’ experience within Fund Services (preferably Custody)
• Technical knowledge of the securities industry, its products and instruments.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Strong leadership skills, and also as an advocate for the company.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to persuade and influence change / best practice.
• Ability to communicate with partners and clients at all levels.
• Ability to create and foster an inclusive environment within overall team.
• Ability to learn and share client strategy, infrastructure, products, and key personnel across the organisation.
• Proven ability to improve service delivery, efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
• Possess the initiative to take ownership and lead projects resulting from market/regulatory changes.
