Role/Department:
As a member of the Asset Servicing Learning & Development team the successful candidate will be an integral part of designing and delivering functional training solutions, analyzing solutions for continuous improvement, and performing appropriate operational and administrative aspects of the training curriculum. The Training Consultant will partner with one of our internal business clients, Custody Servicing, to ensure that those who join the department are provided with the appropriate training to be successful in their role, and to prepare them for the next one.
The Key Responsibilities of the Role - Works with management, and/or subject matter experts to understand desired business outcomes and translate them into learning and organizational development objectives. - Assist with defining learning solutions that support the functional requirements of the roles within Custody Servicing. - Develops and proposes project plans, consults with stakeholders for buy-in and signoff - Designs and implements proactive communication plans to ensure that learning and development initiatives are communicated effectively to both local and global audiences. - Maintains an inventory of training and organization development programs/tools and schedules their use according to management priorities. - Evaluates training and organization development programs for effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvements. - Facilitates both functional and workshop style courses in a learner-focused manner.
Skills/Qualifications:
The successful candidate will benefit from having: - Experience in custody servicing, middle office operations, or a financial operations that supports one of those two products - Experience facilitating on the job training and/or classroom learning is beneficial but not essential - Commitment to learning adult learning principles - Excellent verbal and written communication - Willingness and ability to elicit constructive feedback and provide feedback to others - Ability to work with all levels of staff - A team player interested in working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment - Relentless attention to detail, high standards, and the ability to produce high quality deliverables
