Your Role
Our Life/Health Asia segment is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Marketing Actuary to work in our Tokyo office. As a member of the Tokyo Life/Health team, you will have account manager responsibility for assigned clients and contribute to the development and profitability of our business in Japan.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop andimplement Gen Re's market strategies
• Identify businessopportunities and develop new products
• Monitor and analyzeperformance of written business
• Prepare reinsurancequotations and treaty contracts
• Price newlydeveloped products
• Negotiatereinsurance contracts
• Develop and buildstrong client relationships
• Participate inregional and international initiatives and projects

Your Profile

• Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Japan. Associates who exhibit a visible progression towards fellowship may also be considered.
• 5 or more years' experiencein the life insurance industry, with solid actuarial knowledge
• Reinsuranceexperience is advantageous
• Experience indeveloping protection-type products such as Long-term Care, Dread Disease orHealth Insurance products
• Advanced skills inMicrosoft Excel
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in reading,writing and speaking Japanese
• Good command ofBusiness English, both spoken and written
