Project Manager AVP
State Street Global Services (GS) provides complete investment servicing solutions to leading asset managers and asset owners globally including Asia Pacific. GS has launched a new Conversion Program Office to increase the project management rigor of conversions and create consistently positive client experiences for all client facing projects. GS is seeking experienced executives to manage client onboarding projects in the newly created Conversion Program Office.
Reporting to the Program Manager in Japan, the project manager is accountable for managing GS client conversion / onboarding projects in Japan, with special focus on Cayman funds. He / She is expected to have strong project skills and be able to manage external stakeholders including clients, their lawyers, the trustee; as well as internal stakeholders from Client Management, Product and other corporate groups such as Legal, Compliance, and Risk across different locations. Clients are local or local subsidiaries of global asset managers.
Success in this role will be measured by client satisfaction on the end to end onboarding experience, high associate engagement, adoption of new standards of onboarding, with accountability to continue to influence iterative changes to further improve, strong alignment with CDM as measured by influencing nonstandard / bespoke clients requirements, data points to represent continuous improvement in onboarding execution, strong strategic partnership with all stakeholders in the client onboarding lifecycle as measured by proof points of influence.
1.Monitor milestones for client conversion lifecycle
2. Adopt the use of standard procedures, processes and operating model
3.Manage ownership and accountabilities across multiple disciplines and around the globe at the project level
4.Exercise oversight on the projects assigned and make sound operational decisions in consultation with relevant stakeholders
5.Constantly drive opportunities for process improvement and execution
6.Manage and problem solve conversion risks and issues
7.Provide leadership and direction on key decisions and issue mitigation
8.Respond to client questions and conduct problem solving with clients and ensuring business issues are resolved, at the same time representing the business in influencing reduction of bespoke client activities
9.Ensure superior client satisfaction acting as an advocate
10.Continually look for opportunities to enhance the client conversion experience and prevent client issues from arising
11.Strong alignment with CDM New Business Integration team partnering to drive end to end improvements Lead communication, management and reporting
12.Ensure consistent, accurate and timely reporting on all client facing projects
13.Develop deep meaningful relationships with key contacts and ensure GS is viewed as a strategic partner
14.Promote State Street's capabilities to clients and identify additional business opportunities
