What you'll be doing

As our Collection Manager - Consumer Credit, you'll be the person who owns and evolves our end-to-end collection strategy across consumer lending products, with a strong focus on data, segmentation, and AI-driven decisioning.

Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

• Design and execute data-driven collection strategies - Leveraging advanced analytics and predictive models to design collection strategies tailored to different risk profiles and product types.
• Develop AI-powered collection approaches - Driving the adoption of AI to enhance next-best-action logic, predictive contact strategies, and intelligent prioritization of accounts.
• Personalize customer engagement & tone of voice - Defining and implementing differentiated communication strategies, adapting tone, channel, and timing based on customer behavior.
• Optimize performance and ROI - Owning key collection KPIs (recovery rates, roll rates, cost-to-collect), ensuring all initiatives are measurable and ROI-positive.
• Guarantee service levels and compliance - Ensuring all collection activities meet defined SLAs and regulatory requirements, balancing effectiveness with fairness.
• Manage stakeholders and ecosystem - Collaborating closely with Finance, Product, Data, and Legal teams, while managing external partners like collection agencies.

Who we're looking for

• Deep experience in Consumer Credit & Collections - You have 7+ years of experience in collections within consumer lending (e.g., BNPL, unsecured/secured credit).
• Fintech, Banking, or Finance Background - Previous experience in a Fintech environment, modern Banking, or Financial Services.
• Knowledge of SEPA Framework - Familiarity with SEPA payment schemes and regulations is considered a strong plus.
• Strong Data & Analytical Mindset - Highly analytical and comfortable working with large datasets and segmentation models to drive decisions.
• AI & Innovation Orientation - Experience with AI applications in collections, such as predictive scoring or automated decisioning.
• Strategic Thinking & Execution - Ability to design sophisticated strategies while ensuring flawless operational execution.
• Customer-Centric Approach - Understanding how to influence customer behavior through tailored communication and channel optimization.
