As a Risk Manager, you will act as team leader for the Risk Management department of our Management Company, reporting directly to the Conducting Officer in charge of Risk Management.

Risk Manager - Luxembourg

  • Advise and train the risk management team;
  • Implement effective risk management policies and procedures to identify, measure, manage and monitor on an ongoing basis all relevant risks;
  • Define AIF and UCITS risk profile;
  • Identify and Assess the risks for the funds under management, propose and monitor adequate risk limits (UCITS and AIF);
  • Measure and monitor key risk indicators;
  • Supervise and review the daily risk controls;
  • Perform stress tests and sensitivity analysis on given key risks;
  • Monitor Value-at-risk, Global Exposure and Counterparty Risk for UCITS;
  • Monitor operational risks to which the ManCo is exposed;
  • Promote proactive management and early identification of risk;
  • Enhance the methodologies and tools used for the risk management;
  • Act as first point of contact for all risk topics;
  • Monitor reporting to the regulator and investors;
  • Report adequately and timely to the Conducting officer in charge of Risk Management;
  • Escalate risk issues to management.

Your Profile:

  • You hold a University degree in finance, economics or equivalent subject;
  • You have 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in risk management, preferably gained from a Management Company;
  • You have a good knowledge of the UCITS and alternative investment funds industry (PERE, Debt);
  • You are fluent in English (knowledge of French and/or German will be considered as an asset);
  • You have a good command of Microsoft Office, VBA and Bloomberg;
  • You are highly organized, dynamic and able to manage workload efficiently;
  • You work with minimum guidance and with autonomy;
  • You are able to communicate well in a small team;
  • You are able to work in an international environment and to connect with various department;
  • You are able to interact clearly and efficiently with external service providers;
  • You are client service oriented.
