We are seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee the accounting, financial control, and governance of a portfolio of Luxembourg SPVs. The role combines strong technical accounting expertise with a focus on process improvement and technology-enabled transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting and financial reporting under Luxembourg GAAP for a portfolio of SPVs and holding structures.
- Manage complex accounting areas including participations, intra-group financing, foreign exchange, and intercompany transactions.
- Coordinate year-end close activities, external audits, and statutory filings.
- Design and maintain a robust control framework, ensuring strong governance, reconciliations and issue remediation.
- Lead process optimisation, automation, and AI initiatives to improve efficiency and reporting quality.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- 6–8 years’ experience in accounting, audit, or finance, preferably with exposure to private equity, asset management, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg accounting, tax, and regulatory matters.
- Experience contributing to or delivering digital or process improvement projects.
- Charted Accountant or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough, with strong organizational skills.
- Practical problem-solver with common sense, able to prioritize effectively and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with senior executives and external partners.
