The Regional Head at FWD Takaful Berhad is responsible for overseeing and leading all business operations and strategic initiatives within a designated geographical region, driving growth, profitability, and market share for our Takaful products and services.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and Takaful principles.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales and operations professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats.
* Drive sales growth and achieve regional targets for Takaful products, ensuring profitability and sustainable business development.
* Oversee the effective management of regional budgets, resources, and operational expenses.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including agents, distributors, customers, and regulatory bodies.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Takaful regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards.
* Identify and implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality within the region.
* Prepare and present regular reports on regional performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product Development) to optimize regional offerings and support.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the financial services or insurance industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or regional management role.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a regional capacity.
* Strong understanding of Takaful principles, products, and the Malaysian financial regulatory landscape.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and manage high-performing teams.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
* Ability to travel frequently within the designated region.
