We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our Human Resource Division as Talent Management Specialist reporting to the Head, Human Resources. At OCBC Bank, you will partner with a variety of teams including internal HR stakeholders, business functions and external stakeholders to support the Bank's talent pipeline strategies including identifying, selecting, developing and retaining top talents within our organisation which is important for long term planning.

Key Accountabilities

The Talent Management Specialist will be responsible for executing several core areas in our talent development agenda, including:

  1. Support, drive and implement talent pipeline strategies through various Talent Management initiatives, processes, programmes and interventions.
  2. Lead the implementation of talent review and succession planning by partnering HR Relationship Managers and line managers.
  3. Maintain strong connections with High-Potentials, line managers, Senior Management, Management Associates and external network.
  4. Lead and manage the Bank's end-to-end Management Associate programmes including recruitment, Assessment Centres, On-Boarding, job attachments and rotations, training and development, mentoring and monitoring of associates' career progressions.
  5. Lead the implementation of Internship programme including maintaining close working relationships with regulators, government bodies and universities.
  6. Lead end-to-end administration of scholarship programme including publicity, candidate screening, payments and maintaining good working relationships with various higher learning institutions.

Qualifications
  1. Candidate with a degree is preferred however, those without a degree but with relevant working experience will be considered.
  2. At least 6 to 8 years of experience in Talent Management or Organisational Development in a sizable organisation, preferably with exposure to financial institutions.
  3. Experiences in candidate sourcing, interviewing, evaluation and running of Assessment Centres, is an advantage.
  4. Able to work independently, resourceful, meticulous, self-motivated and self-driven, demonstrate initiative and strong decision-making with good follow-up skills.
  5. Able to work under pressure, well-versed in communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates).
  7. Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
