Your key responsibilities include:
Working environment
You will be part of a DevOps team within the Access & Authorization Capability of the Value Domain I&A Technology. The team works on one of the bank's Crown Jewel applications, where reliability is essential for business continuity. The application plays an important role in supporting secure access across the bank's application landscape. You will be a key part of the delivery process, with room to develop new UI components and improve the application. At ABN AMRO, you'll have the opportunity to work on impactful and meaningful projects that make a real difference. Your job

- Upgrade Angular applications to the latest framework versions
- Migrate test suites from Karma/Jasmine to Vitest
- Refactor NgModule-based applications into standalone architecture
- Develop new UI components and application features
- Resolve defects and reduce technical debt
- Maintain test coverage and code quality standards
- Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical discussions
- Collaborate with architects and senior developers on application modernisation initiatives

- 2-5 years of experience with Angular development
- Strong knowledge of Angular 15+ (preferably Angular 17/18+)
- Experience upgrading Angular applications between major versions
- Good understanding of:
- Components, Services, Directives, Pipes
- Dependency Injection
- Routing and Lazy Loading
- Reactive Forms
- RxJS and Observables
- Change Detection
- Experience with Angular CLI
