JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Working within the Middle Office - Transaction Management (TM) team based in Poland, provide primary support for client onboarding and change related projects, operational team (BAU) support
  • Represent the TM function in both external and internal project discussions and workshops
  • Support the client Project Management Office as TM representative
  • Support and execute TM onboarding activities to be operationally ready to support the TM in-scope business activities and completed required tasks such as procedures, system accesses and training
  • Liaise with clients and colleagues both regionally and cross border within the TM project workstream
  • Drive financial process reviews, ensuring validity and continually look for process improvements
  • Design and implement systems and put processes in place to assure accountability, make decisions and achieve objectives
  • Escalate issues and key decisions to functional line management where required
  • Assure that the key principles of improve, govern, control, assure are applied throughout the key areas
  • Embed the culture of Lean thinking by providing support and coaching to TM personnel
  • Support validation of the Future State Operating Model covering in -scope TM functions - preferably
  • Performing Lean/Process Reengineering data analysis - preferably
  • Develop and introduce LEAN (GEMBA) methodologies - preferably
  • Support other TM onboarding activities as required - preferably

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Fluent English - strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 4-6 years of proven project management experience - a detailed understanding of the procedural, technical and product requirements preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial markets; familiarity with custodian cut offs for various financial products and settlement methodologies
  • Transaction Management knowledge across asset types preferred
  • Understand settlement methodologies across various products (Fixed Income, Equity, FX, Cash etc.) preferred
  • Excellent project management skills, extensive project management experience and training;
  • Excellent managerial skills enabling managing project team working under tight deadlines;
  • Academic background, preferred degree in management, economics, finance, science or engineering
  • Multitasking skills, strong analytical and prioritization skills, experience in deadline driven environment
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills including experience in face to face presentations to senior management;
  • PC skills, including MS Office applications Word, Excel, Project and Visio
