The Scrum Master is responsible for fostering an Agile mindset and ensuring the effective application of Agile values, principles, and practices within delivery squads. Drawing on a strong understanding of Agile frameworks and coaching techniques, the Scrum Master helps squads maximise value delivery, continuously improve their ways of working, and operate in alignment with the organisation's Agile Operating Model.
As a servant leader, facilitator, and coach, the Scrum Master creates an environment where squads can thrive, become increasingly self-organised, and consistently deliver value.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our Identity & Access Management (IDAM) Tribe. The ideal candidate is a passionate Agile practitioner who enjoys coaching squads, facilitating collaboration, and driving continuous improvement across delivery squads and stakeholders.
In this role, you will guide Agile squads through their day-to-day activities, helping them deliver high-value outcomes while promoting Agile principles and fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.

As a global critical financial infrastructure, the protection of Euroclear information and assets is fundamental to the companys' business. Security is at the core of our services, firmly embedded in the management systems and processes of the company. You will be joining our Chief Information Security Office (CISO) in charge of putting in place the required controls to adequately and effectively protect our information assets.

Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership & Coaching
- Guide squads in adopting and applying Agile values, principles, and practices.
- Act as a servant leader, enabling squads to become increasingly self-organised and cross-functional.
- Coach squad members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile ways of working.
- Support squads operating in environments where Agile practices are still evolving.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.
Facilitation & Delivery Excellence
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Release Planning.
- Ensure effective decision-making processes and productive squad interactions.
- Help squads identify and manage dependencies, risks, and impediments.
- Remove obstacles and proactively address issues impacting delivery.
- Facilitate transparency through effective communication and progress reporting.
Stakeholder & Product Collaboration
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure a well-managed and prioritised Product Backlog.
- Support Product Owners in applying Agile product management practices.
- Foster strong collaboration between delivery squads and stakeholders.
- Coach stakeholders on how to effectively engage with Agile squads.
Planning, Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Facilitate planning activities and contribute to capability and delivery planning.
- Track and analyse squad metrics such as velocity, throughput, predictability, and delivery performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and squad effectiveness.
- Support risk management activities, including compliance, security, procurement, and financial considerations.
- Ensure delivery artefacts and documentation comply with organisational standards.
- Share lessons learned, impediments, and improvement initiatives with the Agile Community of Practice and Agile Centre of Excellence.
Coordination & Quality Assurance
- Coordinate testing activities, deployment planning, and integration efforts where required.
- Work closely with squads and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master within Agile delivery squads.
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks, principles, and delivery practices.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge constructively, and drive positive change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer-focused and delivery-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.
- Professional-level proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master certifications such as PSM, CSP, CSM, or equivalent.
- Experience working in large-scale Agile environments.
- Ability to understand and engage with technical concepts and engineering squads.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management (IAM), or related security domains.
- Experience working with regulated environments and governance requirements.
