Role Summary:
The role of the Project Manager is to participates in planning and implementation processes of projects undertaken by the group. You will be coordinating and monitoring the ongoing projects and insure that these projects are on schedule and as per the strategy plan, also, to prioritize and reschedule the projects as per the resources and criticality of the user requirements and provide support to team members in providing any solutions and any operations related problems. You will also be responsible for ensuring projects' compliance with the Group-wide Operational standards, policies/procedures, industry best practices and pertinent laws and regulations.

Role Description:
Building relationships with multiple departments and areas of the business will enable you to gain a full understanding of the project, the business requirements behind it and the reasons it must be implemented within allocated timeframes and budgets. You will also be responsible for developing and presenting project proposals to senior management in order to gain approvals. Managing projects from beginning to end, you will ensure communication throughout the project remains fluid and consistent. Keeping all stakeholders appropriately informed you will maintain accurate and up to date reports. Ensuring compliance standards are followed when implementing projects, you will abide by local and international regulations, minimising risk to QNB and ensuring up to date information is available to internal and external auditors.

You will possess a thorough understanding of project principles and a Prince certification would be a distinct advantage. Educated to master's level, you will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in Project Management, preferably in the Banking and/or Finance industry. You will combine your excellent theoretical and industry specific knowledge with your excellent time management and organisation skills. As a strong communicator you will have the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels in order to gain an understanding, interpret that understanding and report it across the functions.
Special Skills Required:
Efficient planning and co-ordination skills which are necessary to effectively prioritize the projects and to achieve the targeted schedule. Knowledge of project management techniques/tools and methodologies.
Previous experience in working with banking applications, payment systems and Policy and Procedure.
Good understanding of Home Banking, ATM Management systems, Cards Management system; Foreign Trade ;Treasury products and any other Operation product.
Problem solving/ decision making skills.
Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
Operations Management skills (capacity planning, project management, performance management, MIS and budgets).
Evident and proven ability to provide superior customer service.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Excellent coaching skills.
In-depth understanding of relevant processes and applicable standards.
Strong analytical and planning skills.
Ability to manage multiple project priorities at the same time.
Leadership skills; demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, organize and empower personnel.
