Business Analyst - GCFS, Business Transformation

The incumbent will serve as a liaison between Business/Operations and IT. The person will be responsible for analysing business and functional requirements and work with stakeholders to ensure the requirements provided by the business are delivered in the IT solution.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in daily operations and use of ROME (system) and other related systems
  • Provide support on system enhancements arising from project, ITSR or production fixes
  • Collaborate effectively with Business, IT and Vendor to manage requirements gathering and testing
  • Grasp and provide a good understanding of business requirements to IT and Vendor to ensure delivery of a quality system that meets customers' requirements
  • Review the User Requirements and Functional Specifications documents to ensure Business Requirements and system changes are correctly defined
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) against test plan and schedule to ensure a complete coverage of test scenarios and prompt resolution of issues
  • Prepare Test Plan, Scope, scenarios, scripts, test data and equipment/logistics before UAT starts
  • Supervise testers and review their testing to ensure correct results
  • Conduct testing when required
  • Ensure timely completion of UAT within stipulated project/enhancement timeline
  • Support Pre-Implementation/Roll-out activities by providing onsite support for rollout/pre-live or pilot testing when necessary
  • Monitor system performance after roll-out
  • Prepare communication or conduct training to system users when necessary
  • Track production issues and work with BU/IT to resolve issues
