The Role Our client is an established bank globally, and we are seeking a high-calibre Vice President - Credit Risk to lead credit strategy, portfolio oversight, and risk governance across our Consumer Finance portfolio. Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of credit risk strategy across the Consumer Finance portfolio
• Own underwriting policy, credit appetite, scorecard oversight, and decisioning frameworks
• Monitor portfolio performance, early warning indicators, and stress testing outcomes
• Drive IFRS 9 / CECL provisioning oversight and capital optimisation initiatives
• Oversee model governance, validation, and regulatory compliance (Basel, local regulatory frameworks)
• Partner with Product, Pricing, Finance, and Collections to ensure risk-adjusted profitability
• Present portfolio performance, risk appetite metrics, and emerging risks to senior governance forums
• Lead and develop a high-performing credit risk team

Requirements:

• Significant experience (typically 10+ years) in credit risk within retail/consumer banking
• Proven leadership experience managing senior risk professionals
• Strong knowledge of Southeast Asian consumer finance markets, with experience in Indonesia preferred
• Strong understanding of consumer lending products and lifecycle risk management
• Ability to manage and work with regional stakeholders
