The Role Responsibilities
  • Coordinating with cross discipline teams to review requirements and provide estimates for enhancements and initiative deliverables (agile or waterfall).
  • Conduct/oversee Agile ceremonies to make sure that all parties are on track with sprint backlog's aims.
  • Ensure that the initiatives are managed in line with good project management/agile practices and standards utilising internal frameworks and tools
  • Manage assigned FMO Client Channels backlogs and work with stakeholders to manage business case and prioritisation.
  • Define and formulate the implementation plan (including key dependencies, resource requirements and interlocks)
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of current Operations processes, inefficiencies, issues and risk.
  • Work with the business to understand their requirements, define new processes and workflows.
  • Be an active, vocal team member of workshops, discussions and working groups.
  • Assist business functions with determining where inefficiencies lie, where overheads/costs can be reduced and where improvements can be made to increase revenues
  • Pro-actively engage, manage and build strong relationships with both business and technology (including vendors) stakeholders
  • Define and monitor at a work stream level key risk and issues and manage them within Clarity
  • Work closely with the Group Functions and Business Areas to implement / enhance data quality controls and documentation.
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analysing and summarizing relevant information.
  • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Manage project financials through the Clarity tool to within the prescribed margins.

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills, inclusivity, negotiation skills and organizational skills.
  • A Banking / finance Operations background is essential, as is having a structured, go getting attitude with the ability to think innovatively and challenge the status quo, providing alternative solutions where appropriate.
  • Practices multicultural, diverse and inclusive behaviours
  • Proficiency in Access, PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Ability to work proactively, independently and displays strong initiative
  • Pragmatic team player with an attention to detail
  • Ability to drive multiple agenda and effectively manage priorities
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo, providing alternative solutions
  • Displays personal authority, integrity and ethics
  • A Banking / finance Operations background is essential, as is having a structured, go getting attitude with the ability to think innovatively and challenge the status quo, providing alternative solutions where appropriate.

  • Years of experience - 8 years
