Private Banker / Relationship Manager

Role Overview
The client is looking for an experienced Private Banker / Relationship Manager to develop and manage relationships with HNW and UHNW clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a sustainable client portfolio, understanding clients’ financial objectives, and delivering bespoke wealth management solutions in partnership with internal and external product specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and manage relationships with HNW / UHNW clients, family offices, entrepreneurs, and professional investors.
- Grow assets under management through new client acquisition, referrals, and deepening existing relationships.
- Understand clients’ wealth objectives, risk appetite, liquidity needs, and investment preferences.
- Provide tailored investment and wealth management solutions across public markets, funds, structured products, alternatives, credit, and other relevant asset classes.
- Work closely with investment, product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure high-quality client service and execution.
- Maintain strong knowledge of global financial markets, macro trends, and investment products.
- Ensure all client onboarding, KYC, suitability, and compliance requirements are completed accurately and in line with regulatory standards.
- Monitor client portfolios and proactively identify opportunities, risks, and portfolio adjustments.
- Represent the firm professionally in client meetings, networking events, and market-facing activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Private Banker, Relationship Manager, Wealth Manager, or Investment Advisor.
- Existing network of HNW / UHNW clients, family offices, entrepreneurs, or accredited investors is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of wealth management products, investment advisory, portfolio construction, and financial markets.
- Track record in client acquisition, AUM growth, and revenue generation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in an independent / boutique platform environment.
- Strong sense of integrity, discretion, and client confidentiality.
- Relevant MAS regulatory certifications / CMFAS qualifications are preferred.
