While the Site Reliability Engineer | Data Pipeline Automation lead is accountable for implementation of the overall (e2e) DevOps model. S/he is specifically responsible for:
Ensuring teams are equipped appropriately; Requirements
24/7 monitoring and support processes (Singapore & DAH2) including right accesses to production (and pre-production) environments. Ensures teams are right sized and have the right skills and tools. Driving synergies and collaboration across all applications within Ecosystem and wider 'tech organization'. Will leverage agile reporting, showcases, KPIs, SLAs, OLIs, financials and other artefacts to ensure transparency and alignment across stakeholders. Engaging relevant SMEs from all areas (e.g., architecture, design, development) to ensure teams are delivering short and long-term goals and ensuring technical excellence and quality including (automated) real-time performance updates. Ensuring the model is aligned with the technical architecture and business goals Actively managing risks and issues; balance the competing needs of speed to market, cost, technical excellence and zero impact production applications. Support any internal & external audits and assessments. Building and driving DevOps culture across the team / work as an evangelist for DevOps and SRE practices. A proven track record of successfully implementing Dev(sec)Ops journey using Agile way of working.
8-10+ years of experience in Dev(sec)Ops automation, CI&CD, production support, complex de-centralised and multi-disciplined teams. Prior Developer experience preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience automating tasks and writing tools in a scripting language (e. g. Python). Minimum of 3 years practical experience in software development using programming languages (e. g. Java). Wide technical background: Apply Now
SDLC and latest SW development practices Cloud knowledge (Public, Hybrid, Private) CI&CD pipeline as a concept; source control, build process, security scanning, test automation, deployment processes (Auto promotion, Blue & Green), APM. CI&CD tools and techniques (scripting, config management, Jenkins/Bamboo, Maven/Ant) Proven leadership skills and evidence of collaboration with developer teams and business teams. Prior experience working in a Financial services organisation preferred but not mandatory.
